316 quality stainless steel is a material quality obtained by adding molybdenum and more nickel into 304 quality stainless steel. Thanks to this content, the corrosion resistance of 316 quality materials is very good even in harsh conditions (seawater, acidic liquids, etc.). Furthermore, the ultimate strength of 316 quality materials is much higher than that of 304 quality materials.
316Ti is the addition of titanium into 316 quality stainless steel. If the material is exposed to high temperatures from 550 to 800 ° C for a long time, use 316Ti (1.4571) grade stainless steel. 316Ti stainless steels contain low amounts of titanium. This rate is usually 0.5%. 316Ti grade stainless steels have a longer life time than 304 or 316 stainless steel grades.
