316Ti (1.4571)

316 quality stainless steel is a material quality obtained by adding molybdenum and more nickel into 304 quality stainless steel. Thanks to this content, the corrosion resistance of 316 quality materials is very good even in harsh conditions (seawater, acidic liquids, etc.). Furthermore, the ultimate strength of 316 quality materials is much higher than that of 304 quality materials.   316Ti is the addition of titanium into 316 quality stainless steel. If the material is exposed to high temperatures from 550 to 800 ° C for a long time, use 316Ti (1.4571) grade stainless steel. 316Ti stainless steels contain low amounts of titanium. This rate is usually 0.5%. 316Ti grade stainless steels have a longer life time than 304 or 316 stainless steel grades.

Corrosion Resistance: The corrosion resistance of this material is quite good. In harder conditions, duplex (1.4462) quality material can be preferred.
Mechanical Properties: 316Ti quality material has similar mechanical properties to 304 and 304L quality material. For higher ground strength, 431, duplex (1.4462) or 630 (1.4542 PH17.4) may be preferred.
Vulnerability to be beaten: This quality stainless steel has a low beatingability. Titanium and other elements may cause the material to break or crack at the moment of being hit.
Weldability: The weldability of this quality stainless is good, contrary to what is believed. The lower carbon-containing version 316L of the same quality can be preferred in places where a higher rate of welding will be made.
Machinability of: 316Ti quality western materials are sold by our company and then it is provided to have a better workability by being subjected to various processes. In order to make the workability easier, where lower corrosion resistance is acceptable, 303 or 430F grade stainless steel products can be preferred.
